Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Ryan is the second of three sons. Since he was a toddler he has been fascinated with all forms of wildlife: from sneaking leaves, seedpods, shells, bones, rocks, feathers and even dung into his mother’s handbag to reading everything he could find about wildlife , Ryan is a true “Bush Boy”. Conservation is his favourite subject. Ryan spent three years in Sinamwenda, a remote fishing village on the shores of Lake Kariba. He is currently working at a lodge in Victoria Falls, and spends as much time as possible exploring the mighty Zambezi River and all that it bestows life upon. Ryan has a passion for photography and studies mammology, conchology and maritime myths as hobbies.
